I visited the arm japan office at Yokohama. We are creating softwares for Arm processors for example IchigoJam, IchigoLatte, IchionQuest and PanCake.
新横浜、日本のarmにお邪魔させていただきました。IchigoJamをはじめ、IchigoLatte, IchigonQuest そして PanCake など、僕が最近制作しているソフトウェアはすべてこのソフトバンクグループのarm社設計のArmプロセッサ向けです。
We had exciting time with arm people, and I got the COOL book “Digital Design and Computer Architecture: ARM Edition” from the arm.
楽しいお話をたくさん交わし、なんとお土産に「ディジタル回路設計とコンピュータアーキテクチャ[ARM版]」というカッコいい本をいただきました。
I usually creating software by Cortex-M0, so the book excite me truly.
普段から Cortex-M0 のコードを描いてはいたものの、このような本は読んだことがなく、内容の濃さにワクワク！
The book is explaining about Arm processor from physical electronics to application software. I will enjoy this ¥5,000 book on this end of the year.

You can do programming with the Quest Interface on the IchigonQuest. Do you know Quest Interface? It’s that. The Danbun who is hero of the quest will show the place where computer is running. And the hero will also tell to you what is happening inside of computer now. The photo is a sample for blinking LED 10 times. It includes some essentials of programming.
「IchigonQuest」では十字キーだけを用いた「クエスト インターフェース」でプログラミングすることができます。「小学校の低学年でキーボードのアルファベットタイピングには抵抗がある」という方向け、しかも主人公「ダンブン」が実行場所を示し、コンピュータ内で起こっていることを実況してくれます。例えば「LEDを 10回だけ 点滅させる」、この写真のソースコードにも”プログラミング的思考”がたっぷり含まれています。
Of course we also prepared the English version!
“IchigonQuest” by GUI programming for lower grade of elementary school, “IchigoJam” by keyboard BASIC programming for upper grade and “IchigoLatte” by JavaScript programming for junior high school students. All software can work on same hardware the IchigoJam-machine.
Well, the tools are ready. Let’s create something not yet in this world together!
